The Seven Wonders of Portugal - Villages, were voted and elected by the Portuguese people, in 2016.
The requirements for the selection of the candidates for voting, were:
- Natural Beauty
- Cultural and Historical importance
- Traditional Gastronomy
- Flora and Fauna diversity
- Preservation state
